Skill development opportunities and career growth

Helping employees/anyone willing to develop the critical skills they need to advance in their careers and their organizations doesn’t have to be costly. In fact, there are plenty of creative on-the-job opportunities for employees to learn new skills without an organization having to spend a dime.(1) L.I.F.E Development community helps those who are willing to change their lives and invest their time to practice and develop their skills.

Global mega trends such as the rising role of technology, climate change, demographic shifts, urbanization, and the globalization of value chains are changing the nature of work and skills demands. To succeed in the 21st century labor market, one needs a comprehensive skill set composed of:
Cognitive skills, socio-economical skills, technical skill and digital skills.(2) The development of skills can contribute to a wide and successful community. The survey, which collected data from 1,353 respondents, representing 126 countries from all over the world captured the main challenges faced by TVET institutions during this crisis and brought to light innovations in teaching and learning. This not only helped them improve their skills but also improved the results in terms of productivity and quality of work; Now more than ever, coordinated efforts are needed to build integrated national approaches to skills development so that individuals, enterprises and society can access the skills they need and deploy them in a way that benefits us all.

Skills development has been recognized as a key global priority by governments, social partners and international organizations who now also need to combine their efforts to strengthen national skills policies and systems to support achievement of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).(3)

Our mission is to achieve our goals by providing hands-on skills to these people so they can have a better and sustainable life.
